On 2 January 2010, 9 o’clock in the morning Mr. Mir Abdul Wadood Raisani a senior member of the Central Committee of the pro-independence Balochistan Republican Party was arrested at Central Jail Khuzdar Tehsil Zilla Khuzdar. At the time of release, family members, friends and party workers were at the gates of Central Jail Khuzdar. AT least three of the abductors were members of the so-called Anti-Terrorist Force, Pakistan intelligence agencies and Khuzdar Police. They came in twenty vehicles full of people, numbering more than a hundred. Eight of the vehicles belonged to the Khuzdar Police and twelve were used by ATF and intelligence officials.The abductors were clearly identified by people on the scene as SHO Police station Khuzdar Abdul Qadir and Anti-Terrorist Force agents. Eyewitnesses are nephews of the victim named Ghulam Murtaza Raisani, Mohammad Asif Raisani, Amjad Ali Raisani, Sajad Ali Raisani, Jahanzed Raisani Mir Orengzeb Raisani. About 200 party workers and members of Baloch Republican Party who had gone to Central Jail Khuzdar are eyewitnesses to the abduction.
